Turning your Palm on
====================
The Palm OS automatically prevents "button bounce", where a button is pressed, released and pressed again in quick succession. There is no way for Power to get around this mechanism. To turn your Palm on, it is best to press a button slowly and deliberately. In particular, the first press should be held until the Palm is on. Don't worry, after using Power a few times all this becomes second nature!

Power is a handy utility that prevents unwanted button presses from turning on your handheld. This saves battery power and helps prevent data corruption caused by random taps.

Enable / Disable:
Enable or disable Power's functionality. If disabled, Power does not run at all.

Press button:
You can specify how many times and in what timeframe a button should be pressed to turn on your handheld. The Palm OS automatically prevents "button bounce" so the best way to turn on your Palm is to press the buttons slowly and deliberately. With a bit of practice it becomes second nature!

Normal operation if charging:
If checked, any button can turn on your handheld if it is being charged.

Allow alarms to turn on device:
If checked, alarms can turn on your handheld. If not, alarms will be supressed and will display once your handheld is turned on manually. This setting also enables and disables other events, like a memory card (SD or Memory Stick) being inserted or removed.

Disable these buttons:
If a button is disabled, then that button cannot turn on your handheld, no matter how many times it is pressed.

Please share this application with your friends!
