We aim to please. Ourselves, mostly, but we do aim to please.
With w116, I aim to be the blogosphere's number one stop for elitist Ivy League banter. That's my niche, you see.
This is a mostly academic blog, occasionally focusing on my graduate research into educational technology and mathematics, as well as the various revelations that I experience in my profession as a SysAdmin.
Usually, I'll wax poetic about curious content that I find online, and about an assortment of obscure interests, such as Tom Lehrer, baseball statistics, the Mets and the Yankees, show tunes, puzzles, humor, chess, and stories about the '50s.
The obligatory disclaimer: the opinions expressed on this blog do not reflect those of my employer, my colleagues, my friends, my family, my professors, Columbia University, The Bronx High School of Science, The Kinneret Day School, Major League Baseball, or the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and The Bronx.
