About the Program:

The Program was established in November 2003 at the Law School, with support from Columbia University President Lee Bollinger and former Law School Dean David Leebron.  It is directed by Professor Bhagwati.  Its scope is inter-disciplinary and it aims at providing an umbrella for faculty and students engaged in scholarly research on the myriad analytical and policy-related issues raised by the international flows of humanity.  The associated faculty includes disciplines as diverse as economics, literary theory, philosophy, sociology, political science, international relations, and law.
