I moved in 2003 from Greenwich Village to Midtown and was amazed to find a
field on 11th Ave. that is actually big enough for small rubber-powered planes. Here
are some shots from a Sept 2003 flying session. In the first, I'm assembling the
24" wingspan Flying Aces Moth. The next picture shows the Moth climbing out on
a nice flight.
