Rebecca is pursuing her P.h.D. in social psychology at Columbia University. She is currently a fourth year, working primarily with Dr. Valerie Purdie-Vaughns in the Laboratory of Intergroup Relations and the Social Mind 

Prior to working at Columbia, Rebecca worked as Dr. Michele Gelfand's lab manager at the University of Maryland where she assisted with the MURI project. Throughout her time at Maryland, Rebecca worked on several cross-cultural psychology projects. 

Rebecca first started conducting psychology research at Tufts University, working with Dr. Evan Apfelbaum and Dr. Sam Sommers in the Diversity and Intergroup Interactions Lab. 

Rebecca is originally from Washington D.C. and harbors some major district pride. In her free time, she enjoys exploring all that New York City has to offer and enjoying nature with her favorite dog.
