| I enjoy watching cricket matches and closely follow India's frequent losses and occasional victories. I think good statistical models can be built using the large amount of data from one-day matches. Teams can potentially use such models for improving their strategies and tactics, and for analyzing, benchmarking and improving the performance of players. I like BBC's cricket commentary, which is broadcast on the web, but only for matches featuring England. Doordarshan/Star Sports/ESPN should (but surely will not) learn something from them. |
