The Morningside Heights campus houses three undergraduate schools—Columbia College, the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the School of General Studies—as well as graduate and professional schools for arts and sciences, architecture, the arts, business, international affairs, journalism, law, and social work. The School of Continuing Education is also on the Morningside Heights campus.

Columbia University Medical Center, located at 168th Street and Broadway in the Washington Heights neighborhood, encompasses the graduate schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, and public health, as well as the hospital.

General Tours
General tours of the Morningside campus are given Monday through Friday at 1:00 p.m. for groups with fewer than 10 participants. No registration is required and all tours are free. These tours are open to prospective graduate students, new employees, and the general public. Self-guided tours are also available. Tours last at least one hour and leave from the Visitors Center, located in 213 Low Memorial Library.

Check here often for updates on closings and University holidays before planning your visit.

Tours of the Medical Center campus are offered to student applicants during the interview process; call (212) 305-4673 to arrange one.

Prospective Students
For a schedule of undergraduate admissions information sessions and campus tours for prospective students and high school groups, please see Visiting Columbia for Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science tours, or visit the School of General Studies website. These sessions are open only to prospective undergraduates. Prospective graduate students should take one of the general tours offered by the Visitor's Center (see above) or contact the admissions office of the school to which they are applying.

Group Visits
These free tours, which require a Columbia University escort, are offered Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for groups of 10 or more participants. All high school groups should arrange tours through Visiting Columbia or the School of General Studies. Other groups should send an email to ngh2107@columbia.edu a minimum of three weeks in advance to inquire about availability. Include two prospective dates and times, the name of your school or group, the number of participants, grade level if applicable, and any special needs.
