Gyromouse Pro

A wireless mouse is available in some ePodiums. They can be used in the air as well as on the surface like a regular mouse.

Remove the mouse from its cradle and push one of the two mouse buttons to activate it from sleep mode. Do NOT push the small little button in between the two main mouse buttons. This changes the frequency, thus requiring a restart of the computer to get the mouse working again.

To use it in the air, place your index finger on the base, and use your thumb to click on the two mouse buttons. There is a button on the base of the mouse. With your index finger, press and hold this button. While holding the button slowly curl your wrist; you will see the cursor on the screen move in the direction of your wrist movement. When the cursor is set over something to click on, let go of the button on the base and click the left or right mouse button with your thumb.

When finished using the Gyromouse, please place it back in the cradle to charge the battery.

Microphone

In larger rooms, there is a clip-on wireless microphone. On some microphones, there are two switches, a power switch and a mute switch. For the microphone to work, make sure the power is on and it is not on mute. If the battery is low, there is a spare battery in the pouch. Replace the battery and dispose the used one. If there is no spare battery and the one in the mic is low, call 4-3633 immediately.

When finished with the microphone, please remember to turn it off to preserve the battery.

Light

There is a small lamp in every podium, located near the touchpanel on the right side. Turn it on by twisting the knob. Aim the light by turning the gooseneck.
