ePodium Training: Document Camera

Facilities > Classrooms > ePodium Training: Document Camera

To use the Document Camera, touch the Camera button at the top of the touchpanel. The image from the camera will be displayed on the screen.

For the gooseneck cameras, adjust the positioning of the camera by twisting the gooseneck and aiming the lens at the desired object/document. The focus is adjusted by twisting the rubber ring outside the lens.

Standard document cameras installed on the flip-up podium shelf have to be turned on in most cases. The power switch is located on the left side of the doc cam. In some rooms, the power cable for the camera must be plugged into the power outlet just behind the keyboard tray. For 3D objects and paper documents, press the upper light button on the doc cam. For transparencies, press the base light button on the doc cam.
