Welcome to CUIT's newly designed desktop services site for faculty and staff. This site has been designed to make it easier for you to find out information about technology services available through CUIT and to streamline the ordering process. CUIT can provide you with a wide array of services for computing and telephone needs both in your office and in your University-owned apartment.
Services include:
- Design/Consultation. CUIT provides design and consultation
assistance to help you select technology and services that best serve
your computing, telephone and networking needs. We will help you
choose the best solution to meet your individual and/or workgroup
requirements.
- Desktop Services. CUIT can provide you with a core set of popular Windows applications, including Microsoft Office, Exchange e-mail and calendaring, personal and shared network space and back-up services. We can offer individual and departmental solutions.
- Desktop Telephone Services. CUIT can provide you with an array of phone options, both single and multi-line phones such as RolmPhone, digital Centrex and AT&T phones. Other phone services we offer include call processing, conferencing and broadcast message services.
- Cellular Services. CUIT can provide you with cell phones with service from the four major carriers as well as advanced Treo and Blackberry smart phones that allow you to easily access your e-mail and calendaring services through wireless networking.
- High-Speed Office and Apartment Networking. CUIT can provide you with high-speed network access in 65 campus buildings and all Morningside Heights University Apartment Housing buildings.
- High-Speed Multi-Function Copier or Scanner Networking. CUIT can provide you with high-speed network access for devices which require network connectivity to send vouchers electronically into the Accounts Payable/Imaging Document Management Application (EDM). Order Now (UNI required)
