Use these instructions to obtain documentation that gives the details of every table on each summary file. The documentation will be a web page that lists the name of each of table, and each name is a link that lists all the variables in the table. Please note the comments below about accessing the data and the overview of the tables that is shown below.

As shown in the image below, select the link, "About this data set"       that displays when you choose a Summary File.	Chose a Summary file using one of the links below.

You can keep the window with the documentation open either while you are working with the Allocate extraction software on the EDS network or when you are working on the American FactFinder's web site. This documentation is part of the American FactFinder site.

The sequence of the tables on Summary File 3 is:

• P Tables
  Population tables reported for block groups and higher. Tables with an alphabetic suffix indicate that all tables with that number repeat for the nine major race and hispanic origin population groups.
• H Tables
  Housing tables reported for block groups and higher.
• PCT Tables
  Population tables reported for tracts and higher. Tables with an alphabetic suffix indicate that all tables with that number repeat for the nine major race and hispanic origin population groups.
• HCT Tables
  Housing tables reported for tracts and higher. Tables with an alphabetic suffix indicate that all tables with that number repeat for the nine major race and hispanic origin population groups.
