Summary:
This database is comprised of four parts. The three that are
reported using both the SourceOECD and OECD.Stat interface are:
volume, value and price indices table; international trade indicators tables;
and tables for total trade value by partner countries. For each of these parts
monthly, quarterly and annual data is reported. Note: Quarterly data
are calculated as averages of monthly figures. For
comparisons, these data should be used with OECD monthly international
trade tables exclusively. A table reporting trade value classified by
section of SITC in a way that reflects economic activity is available
via the OECD.Stat interface.
Volume, value and price indices
1960-current (monthly, quarterly annual) via SourceOECD interface

This table contains annual volume indices, average value indices, and
price indices for imports and exports.
Note: There is considerable variation between countries in the amount
of detail provided in the classifications used. Annual data are calculated
using monthly averages and should be used in correlation only with
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) monthly
international trade tables exclusively. Data is from 1960 forward.
International trade indicators
1960-current (monthly, quarterly annual) via SourceOECD interface
current 12 months are available via OECD.Stat
This table consists of total annual imports and exports in value (millions
of U.S. dollars). The data are available as both raw data (before seasonal
adjustment) and data adjusted for seasonal variations. These annual
statistics are as averages of monthly figures. In addition to
individual country data, the following groups and associations are
given: OECD-total, G7, NAFTA, OECD-Europe, EU-15, EUR-11. Note: For
comparisons, these data should be used with OECD monthly international
trade tables exclusively. Data is for 1960 onward.
Total trade value by partner countries
1960-current(monthly, quarterly annual) via SourceOECD interface

This table consists of imports and exports in value (millions of U.S.
dollars) between reporting countries and partner countries arranged by
world region, economic groupings and association, i.e. Africa, America,
Central America and Caribbean, South America, Middle East, Far East,
Oceania, Asia, the Baltic States, the Former Yugoslavia, Europe, the
Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), OECD Asia
and Pacific, OECD Europe, Non-OECD Countries, G7, NAFTA, OPEC, CEEC, CIS,
EU-15, EUR-11, MERCOSUR, ASEAN.
Trade in value classified by sections of SITC

This table, available only via OECD.Stat, reports
monthly imports/exports by a grouping of SITC code that reflects
economic activity.
