Summary:
This four-part study updates the
International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events [ITERATE]
The earlier
version is International Terrorism: Attributes
of Terrorist Events [ITERATE 2] study (ICPSR 7947) which
covered 1968 through 1977.
This dataset contains a common file that lists information about
incidences from 1968-2011 by type of attack, the location of the beginning
and end of the incident, the name of the terrorist group involved, and the
numbers of deaths and
injuries. Three additional files with details on Hostage (through
2006), skyjacking (through 1991) and fate of both the hostages and
terrorists (through 1991) are also part
of the study
