Summary:

This four-part study updates the International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events [ITERATE] The earlier version is International Terrorism: Attributes of Terrorist Events [ITERATE 2] study (ICPSR 7947) which covered 1968 through 1977. This dataset contains a common file that lists information about incidences from 1968-2012 by type of attack, the location of the beginning and end of the incident, the name of the terrorist group involved, and the numbers of deaths and injuries. Three additional files with details on Hostage (through 2006), skyjacking (through 1991) and fate of both the hostages and terrorists (through 1991) are also part of the study.
