Summary:
This file provides data on labor force activity the week prior to the survey. Comprehensive data are provided on the employment status, occupation and industry of person 14 years and over. Characteristics such as age, sex, race, marital status, household relationship, education, and Spanish origin are shown for each person. Data concerning job mobility areas such as length of time in current job, reason for initiating a job search, time spent and procedures used in job search, length of time unemployed and benefits obtained. Additional information on distance between job and home, occupational educational courses taken, hours worked per week, hourly wage and weekly earning is also provided.

The thirteen larges States are uniquely identified. The remainder of the States are identified as groups of several states. Thirty-four SMSA's are identified.
