Current Population Survey, January 1980

Summary:
This file provides data on labor force activity the week prior to the survey. Comprehensive data are provided on the employment status, occupation and industry of person 14 years and over. Characteristics such as age, sex, race, marital status, household relationship, education, and Spanish origin are shown for each person.

The thirteen larges States are uniquely identified. The remainder of the States are identified as groups of several states. Forty-four SMSA's are identified.
