Selected printed SAS manuals are available in EDS.

Self-directed instruction is available from within the SAS progam on computers in the public CUIT and EDS labs. From the top bar menu of the SAS program, choose Help and the following options will appear.

SAS Online Tutorial:

SAS OnlineTutor is designed for novice and intermediate As you take lessons you will be practicing your new programming skills using sample data in the actual SAS environment.

When you choose this option a new window will open displaying the tutorial's introductory screen in your PC's browser, while in the SAS window a dialog will appear saying your sample data and files are ready (click OK in this dialog box). Make the browser window that is displaying the "SAS Online Tutorial" the active window and follow the tutorial's instructions.

Getting Started with SAS Software:

This option gives a fast introduction to using SAS software. Instruction is in the format of text and illustrations that show menu options and window displays for various tasks.

When you choose this option a new window will open, click anywhere in the window to start the tutorial.
