exchange rates for a list of foreign currencies against the U.S. $.
Where did you start and what three sources would you suggest trying? - Compare your list to the sources that Jane would suggest. In each of
the sources she recommends,
- Look for the rate for which a currency trades against the U.S.
- Get the data for countries in the OECD.
- Choose the average rate for the smallest time coverage reported. (annual, quarterly, monthly or daily)
- Get the times series from 1985 through to the most current.
- Look for documentation that describes the series you are downloading
- From each source, download the what you have selected and open it in Excel.
- List one strength and one weakness for each source.
