Connect to CUNIX
Connect Securely!
As of January 4, 2005, all users will be required to use a secure telnet (SSH v2) program to connect to Cunix.
If you want to run Pine or connect to CUNIX...
...you should use PuTTY (Windows) or
Apple Terminal (MacOS X) to make your connection using SSH v2.
CUIT had been
distributing NiftyTelnet and TeraTerm, which are no longer compliant
with mandated security practices. If you are using one of these, or
another non-compliant program, you must follow the links above
to get a new program. Again, as of January 4, 2005, using a secure
program is REQUIRED.
