Adding a Printer

1. Log on to your machine as you usually would.
2. Open Print & Fax control panel from the System Preferences app.
   
   
   
   
   
3. From the Printer & Fax Dialog Box dialog click +.
   
   
   
   
4. Select Line Printer Daemon - LPD.
5. Enter the Printer's Address. A listing of available printers can be found here.
6. Select the printer model. A listing of the printer models is here.
7. Make sure not to leave Queue Name blank and enter public for the queue name.





8. Select the appropriate driver from the list, the printer model and the recommended driver are listed here.






9. Click Add.
10. The dialog will now prompt you to configure driver options. All NINJa printers require the Duplex Unit option to be checked as well as the Tray 4 option. While some printers may have more than 256MB of memory, we recommend setting the Total Printer Memory range to the 128 - 255 MB option for optimal results.
    
11. Click Continue.






You computer is now configured to print to this NINJa station

Printing Your File

1. Open the file that you plan to print.
2. Select Print... from the File menu.
3. Pick the printer you wish to print to from the drop down printer name menu.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Once the print dialog box disappears, you may go to the NINJa printer station and pick up your document.

Printing Your File Double Sided

1. To print your file double sided, select the desired printer. Then click on the Copies and Pages drop down menu and select the Layout option, as illustrated.
   
   
   
   
   
2. The Layout properties box opens. Choose the appropriate setting for the Two-Sided option and print.
   Long-edged binding is the preferred choice for most documents.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Once the print dialog box disappears, you may go to the NINJa printer station and pick up your document.
