Printing Quotas

Facilities > Printing > Printing Quotas

Students and faculty receive a printing allowance, or quota, to use on NINJa printers. Printers on the NINJa system are in various locations. The amount you are allotted to print depends on your university affiliation and the location of the printer. This amount is calculated per sheet of paper; not per printed side. You can find details about your quota below. Where you do not have a quota you may print after purchasing Printing Dollars.

You can also check your print quota online.

Checking the Number of Remaining Pages and Print Account Activity

You can check your print account balance in two ways: check online and from CUNIX.

When you check online you can also take a look at a detailed history of your printing and purchasing activity.

From CUNIX type pages at the $ prompt, or type pages -v to see how many pages you have available, as well as a detailed listing of where you have printed in the past week.
