No, you do not need to register. If you have a computer with an ethernet card, you can plug in to any working jack on campus with an ethernet cable to connect. If you are having difficulty connecting, please take a look at our documentation.

If you trying to connect from an apartment, you may need to sign-up for service to have an active jack installed.

You can also use the wireless network in select areas on-campus as long as your computer has a wireless network card installed that supports either 802.11B or 802.11G.
