An idle session will be timed out after 90 minutes. You will receive a warning at 5 minutes and 1 minute before your session is actually disconnected.

If you are still having problems staying logged into CubMail and are using Internet Explorer, make sure Content Advisor is disabled. Go to Tools - Internet Options - Content. If advisor is enabled, click on the "Disable" button. Then go to Tools - Internet Options - Security - Move the security slider to Medium. Click Apply. Close IE, and then re-open IE.

Also, if you bookmarked cubmail, make sure the bookmark goes to:

https://cubmail.cc.columbia.edu/

If there is anything after the "/" you must remove it, because it could cause your session to timeout.

In your "Favorites" or "Bookmarks," you may need to right click on the bookmark and select Properties to change the bookmark.
