I want automatic address expansion to look only at addresses that are in my personal address book and not from the Columbia Directory? I use CubMail.
- Select Options from the CubMail toolbar, and then select Addressbook (in the lower right).
- At the top, click on My Addressbook and click the hand pointing to the right to send it to the Selected Addressbooks pane.
- Click on My Addressbook and then click on Name in the list of fields.
- Click Save Options.
When you enter someone in your address book, put what you want to use as the "nickname" in the Name field. Then when you compose a new message, type the nickname in the To field and click on Expand Names. CubMail will look the nickname up int he Addressbook and replace the nickname in the To field with "nickname <real email address>."
