I just set up the gradebook for my course, and it seems to stall when I try to get into it. Are there settings to fix this problem?

Wait a few moments to let the page load. Once the page is loaded, go to "Options" and change your settings to display fewer students or items. This will generate a smaller page, and will thus open more quickly.
