As a currently registered student, how do I add more space or printing privileges to my account?

You can upgrade your account which will give you more space on the CUNIX server (space on the email server CYRUS can be increased by requesting it) and will give you extra printing pages.

If you are a TA or student instructor, you are eligible for a free TA account which gives you 80MB of space on CUNIX and 100 printing pages per week. You can request this by having the faculty member for whom you are TAing send us a request via email.

If you are a graduate student with a free basic account, you can upgrade online to an extended account with 40MB of space on CUNIX and 100 printing pages for $35/semester. The charge will appear on your regular Columbia bill. Teachers College students cannot upgrade online, but must purchase upgrades at TC Computing.

Undergraduate students can purchase space beyond the 40MB default quota in 102 Philosophy Hall. The cost is $15/semester for an additional 40MB.
