There is currently a bug with Apple Mail in Macintosh OS 10.4 that will not allow shared folders to be opened when using the new email system, Cyrus. This bug has been reported to Apple. No other versions of Apple Mail are known to be affected by this bug.

As a temporary workaround, you can use another email program to access your mail, such as Thunderbird.
