Why do I get a 'Login failed' error when I try to log in to CubMail?
CubMail displays 'Login failed for some reason' for one of the following reasons:

Try logging in again. Make sure there's no "@columbia.edu" in the username field and that CAPSLOCK is not enabled.
- There may be a problem with one of the mail servers. This is most likely a temporary condition and does not mean there is a problem with your UNI or password. Check to see if there are current problems noted on the askCUIT page. If there is a reported problem with email now, try logging in again later.
- If you changed your password recently, make sure your web browser has not saved the old password.
