J&R is offering Columbia University employees and students the same corporate pricing and buying power afforded the University. You may buy from J&R at the same prices the University receives.
There are a few simple steps to follow to take advantage of the Columbia University employee and student discount.
This program is for individual purchases only. It is not for departmental purchases, which must be made through normal Purchasing channels.

Prices
are determined on an item-by-item basis and are based upon a
percentage over J&R’s cost, not a discount off J&R’s
published price. Orders
can be picked up at the corporate sales office or shipped
directly to you. Orders
should be placed over the phone before stopping by the corporate
sales office by calling the Corporate Sales Division
at 212-238-9080 ext 0 or 1-800-221-3191 ext. 0.
Order
and pick up hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday. Minimum
order is $100.00.

All of our products are covered by the manufacturer warranties. A copy of the complete warranty is included with the product. The manufacturers’ warranty covers repair or replacement of any defective part, subject to the conditions set forth on the warranty. In addition, on most items, J&R Corporate Sales offers an exclusive 30 day return policy to our corporate customers. See below for details and exclusions. Returns are subject to a restocking fee, depending on the condition of goods and packaging material. TV’s and monitors 20" and over, computer products from Apple, IBM, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, and Toshiba; laser printers; Panasonic and Hewlett-Packard fax machines will not be accepted for credit, refund or exchange. These products must be repaired by the manufacturer or their authorized service centers. To locate a service center near you, please refer to your product manual. Computer chips can’t be exchanged and are not covered under any warranty. Except as set forth below, computer software may be exchanged for a different title, if unopened. Defective computer software may be exchanged for same title only. Some software programs (such as Quark) are not returnable to J&R under any circumstance and must be returned to the manufacturer.
