It is available for renewal on an annual basis.
- In addition to the cost of the license, new licenses and upgrades must include the purchase of at least one installation kit at $95 each.

- The licensee is not permitted to use SAS for commercial or profit-making purposes. Its use is restricted to coursework or academic research endeavors. Should you leave Columbia University during the terms of this license, you are not permitted to continue using this software and you are required to delete or destroy any copies you have installed on non-Columbia owned machines in your control.
- Any infringement of the site license agreement becomes the responsibility of the licensee and not Columbia University, i.e. Columbia University shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages with respect to any claim by the licensee or any third party on account of or arising from this agreement or use of SAS.
