Introduction

Access PestPatrol from your Start -> Programs -> Computer Associates -> eTrust -> PestPatrol menu selection, or from the desktop icon if you have one.

The most important features you will initially want to configure, is the Active Protection and Updating your software.

Please remember that keeping your software updated will keep PestPatrol capable of identifying new threats during a system scan. If the definitions are not up to date, the scans you perform will be ineffective in identifying the current or newly released spyware.
