Software > Windows Vista > Windows Vista Activation

  1. Log in using an account with Local Administrator privileges.
  2. Ensure that your computer is able to access the Internet.
  3. Go to Start → All Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt.
  4. Right-click the Command Prompt program entry.



  5. Select Run as Administrator.
  6. At the prompt type the following commands:

    cscript c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -skms vistakms.cc.columbia.edu

    cscript c:\windows\system32\slmgr.vbs -ato




  7. You have successfully activated your Vista client.
