Server Hosting
The CUIT Operations and Technology Services group (TIO) offers a variety of server hosting options in our secure, climate-controlled, 24 x 7 x 365 Computer Center that is equipped with emergency generator power.
- Installation Planning: We can work with your department to plan and implement your hardware installation in the Computer Center machine room.
- Server Eonitoring: TIO can monitor the status of your hardware and software.
- Maintaining Equipment: We also work with vendors to service your equipment, when necessary.
- Provide Peripheral Hardware: We can provide you with tapes and cartridges that can be purchased or distributed to vendors.
- Equipment Placement: You can choose to simply place your server in the Computer Center and to maintain it completely yourself. As the Center’s space is limited, please contact us so we can determine if we can accommodate your needs.
