PRESENTATION OF DEGREE CANDIDATES
This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of graduating students from the Barnard College Class of 2013. Students' names are read as they process across the stage.
Date: Sunday, May 19, 2013
Time: 4:00 p.m.
Location: Radio City Music Hall, 1260 Ave. of the Americas (50th-51st Sts.)
Speaker: Leymah Gbowee, Liberian peace activist and recipient of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize
Reception: Academic departmental reception will he held at 1:00 p.m. on the Barnard Campus. At 3:00 p.m., students and faculty will be bused to Radio City Music Hall for the 4:00 p.m. ceremony.
Tickets: Required; students will receive 6 tickets to the ceremony.
Caps and Gowns: Required
Diplomas: Diplomas for May graduates will be available on Wednesday, May 22nd from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the lobby of Barnard Hall. After 2:00 pm, diplomas may be picked up at the Registrar's office. Diplomas not picked up will be mailed to the address on file a few weeks after Commencement.
UNIVERSITY COMMENCEMENT TICKET DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION
Participating students may pick up all their tickets from the Student Life office, 301 Diana Center, weekdays between 10am-4pm through May 17. Students must show their Barnard ID and, if they registered for Columbia tickets, a printout of the email confirmation.
