Five bus lines (M4, M5, M11, M60, M104) and one subway line (the #1 local) serve the Columbia neighborhood. The M60 bus is a direct link between campus and LaGuardia Airport. The Columbia stop for buses and subways is 116th Street and Broadway. Do not use the express #2 and #3 trains, which follow a different route and do not stop at Columbia University; if you do, be certain to transfer at 96th Street to the #1 local train and exit at the 116th Street stop.

BY TRAIN OR BUS
Trains to New York arrive at Grand Central Station or Pennsylvania Station, while buses stop at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Visitors arriving at these stations can take either public transportation or a taxi north to the campus.
For visitors coming into LaGuardia, Kennedy, or Newark airports, taxi service is available to the campus (about $30 from LaGuardia; from Kennedy, a flat rate of $45 plus tolls), and there is bus service to Grand Central Station and the Port Authority Bus Terminal. City bus service directly from LaGuardia airport to Columbia is available via the M60 bus. AirTrain service from Kennedy airport connects with NYC subways or the Long Island Rail Road to Pennsylvania Station.
BY INTER-CAMPUS SHUTTLE BUS
A free shuttle bus connects the Morningside Heights campus with Harlem Hospital and the Columbia University Medical Center. Shuttle service schedules can be found on the Transportation Services website.
