1) Q: Is this conference open for graduate students?
A: Yup, absolutely.
2) Q: Are you targeting Asian Pacific Americans in college, high school, or even both?
A: Not only are we targetting both Asian Pacific Americans in college and highschool, but graduate, school, alumni, etc. In fact, we're not even just targetting Asian Pacific Americans! Anyone interested is welcome.
3) Q: What should I do on the day of the Conference? Where do I go?
A: Please come to Alfred Lerner Hall and proceed to the Lerner Box Office, which is right in the lobby as you enter Lerner Hall. There you should find the check-in table for registration. Prior to attending any events, if you have already pre-registered, then it's recquired that you check-in. If you still haven't registered, then you will be registered and checked-in on the spot.

A: Alfred Lerner Hall is located on the Columbia University Morningside Heights Campus at the cross between W115th st and Broadway. Please check this map for further details.

6) Q: Will there be a dress code?
A: Yes. All attendees are recquired to wear Sea Green Tinkerbell fairy costumes. Just kidding, no, there is no dress code. Come dressed as Tinkerbell at your own risk.
7) Q: Do I need to register for the workshops? Do I need to choose which workshops I would like to attend in advance?
A: No you do not. At the conference, you will be allowed to freely choose between workshops as you desire.
8) Q: Can I attend only some of the workshops but not all?
A: Of course. In fact, many workshops will be running simultaneously so you will be forced to choose between several workshops.
9) Q: Am I recquired to stay for the entire conference and the music festival?
A: Nope, after you have been checked-in, you may freely enter any workshop or speaker event. You may leave at any time.
10) Q: I would like to get involved in next year's conference. Who plans and organizes the conference?
A: Planning for the conference is mostly done through the Columbia University Asian American Alliance Political Committee. However, this year (2006) most of our funds for this event are coming from Asian Pacific American Awareness Month as well as STA Travel. If you would like to become involved in future conferences then contact the Asian American Alliance or the AAA Political Committee.
