I.  Initial Allocation
    -Women's History Month:  asking for $8950 - after cuts (speakers, tech fees, etc.):  
     motion for $1900:  Y: 13   N: 1   A: 0
     motion passes.

II. Appeals
    -Special Events-presented to us Baccanal costs; we cut budget to allow for 
                    smaller carnival.
     motion for $6000:  Y: 14   N: 0   A: 0
     motion passes.
    -Clefhangers:  want $3315 for CD-Board will grant this amount to them as a loan and 
                   Clefhangers can pay back with profits of CD.
    -Philolexian Society:  croquet tea-they have enough money in their account so no money
                           granted.
    -Philolexian Society:  bi-centenial dinner:  requesting $3385
     motion for $633:   Y: 7   N: 5   A: 2
    -Club Zamana:  semi-formal:  requesting $1150: we suggested to raise ticket price
                   $5 and cut food $300.
     motion for $500:  Y: 7   N: 0   A: 7
    -Club Zamana:  Tamasha: The board believes the group will be able to break even on this 
                            event.
    -Concerts:  spring concert at Baccanal
     motion $4000:  Y: 11   N: 2   A: 1
     *Note:  This figure represents the amount that the ABC has definitley set aside for
             the concert.  After appeals have concluded, the board will discuss allocating 
             leftover funds to the concert.
