Here at Alpha Chi Omega we take our sisterhood very seriously. We aim to provide events that allow our girls to become apart of the organization and to really take advantage of what both Columbia and NYC have to offer. We provide opportunities to be more integrated into the Columbia community by hosting philanthropic events and fundraisers, socializing with other fraternities and sororities, and encouraging our sisters to be apart of the various events that are planned by other groups on campus.
In addition to what we do on campus we take advantage of NYC by going to television show tapings, a favorite is "The Martha Stewart Show," going to special exhibits at various museums and galleries, and getting to know students from the many Universities in New York.
At AXΩ, we take action in our community through our philanthropic ventures both for our national philanthropy of Domestic Violence Awareness and love to participate in a variety of other on-campus opportunities. At the end of each semester we celebrate with a formal at local NYC venue. |
