Alcohol and Alcoholic Beverages (9.01)

All Purchase Requisitions for alcohol for laboratory use require a license number to be shown on the requisition. Requisitions for alcohol without the license number will not be processed. It is the responsibility of the requisitioning department to obtain the license.

The purchase of alcoholic beverages for resale requires a separate resale liquor license number, which also must be provided on the Purchase Requisition. It is the responsibility of the requisitioning department to obtain the license.

Note: The cost of alcoholic beverages and certain other costs must be segregated in accordance with the Office of the Treasurer and Controller Policy Statement 92-1. Contact the Restricted Funds Division of the Office of the Treasurer and Controller for a copy of or questions about the policy.
