Policy Statement
In connection with Columbia University's agreement with the New York State Attorney General regarding certain practices related to higher education loans, dated May 31, 2007, the University has instituted the Financial Aid Code of Conduct, effective immediately
Reason(s) for the Policy
The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure that all employees involved in the affairs of the financial aid offices understand their obligations to protect the rights and serve only the interests of students and parents.
