Welcome to the homepage of Columbia University's Advocacy Coalition.

Advocacy Coalition is a group of student volunteers who are concerned with understanding and trying to improve the conditions of New York City's homeless and low-income residents.

We volunteer in several Upper West Side soup kitchens and food pantries, assisting clients in several different ways.  We do everything from writing basic referrals to advocating on clients' behalf within the New York City welfare system.
