Clare Ng, BC'02, enjoys her sadomasochistic-academia life as a pre-med student double majoring in biology and sociology. She loves swimming, looking for stars, Moo-Moo, and eating potatoes. She misses her parents very much because she hasn't seen them in a year.
David McCann, I was born in Lewiston Maine, grew up in Cambridge Mass., went to Amherst College, and after graduating, to Korea as Peace Corps Volunteer. Rediscovered poetry. Ph.D. at Harvard in Korean literature, with several writing cources during the last two years there-- with Robert Shaw, Robert Fitzgerald, Jane Shore, Elizabeth Bishop. Taught Classical Japanese language and literature at Cornell, worked in the Development (fund raising) office; finally started teaching Korean literature full time at Cornell in 1990. Moved to Harvard in 1997. Poetry keeps changing shape, sometimes becming something I write, othertimes, I read, or translate.

Jessica Quenzer, SEAS'01, spends most of her days in the world of survival horror (also known as Mudd). Her hobbies include bright, shiny sharp things, video games, and random actos of violence towards guys name Dave. As of now, her greatest desire is to get a good night's sleep.

Benno Ryan Weiner GSAS, East Asian Studies Raised in Carmel, California, I developed an interst in Chinese language and history while attending the University of California at Santa Barbara. After moving to new York in 1994, I found myself working in the music business while managing to spending nearly a year in East Asia both for business and s an independent traveler. Now pursuing my masters degree in modern Chinese history, I will be returning to China this summer on a photographic expeditionw hich may even include some studying.
