archaeological
dialogues essay competition:
theoretical archaeology group May 23rd to 25th 2008 at Columbia University in the City of New York
In the spirit of advancing debates in archaeology the editorial board of Archaeological Dialogues is pleased to announce its sponsorship of an essay competition in conjunction with the arrival of TAG to the shores of the Americas. As a journal dedicated to broadening the horizons of theoretically engaged archaeology we are excited to support TAG-NYC which promises to build a community of those willing to pose questions which move beyond narrow methodological, temporal, geographical or ideological confines. The goal of this competition, therefore, is to capture that climate of discussion and provide a further venue for continuing the dialogues that it will undoubtedly foster. |
