Frequently asked questions about registration

The cost of registration is $100 for those in full time employment and $50 for part-time/students/unwaged who pay before April 30th.

Registrations from May 1st onwards will incur an additional fee of $10 for students/part time/unwaged and $20 for professional registrants.

There is no membership fee. The registration fee covers the cost of the conference, the conference pack, and the reception on the opening night.

Payment can be made by visa or mastercard. Registration fees may also be mailed to us as long as they are sent by check or money order in US dollars.


checking in:

Please check in at the Low Library Rotunda on Columbia University's main Morningside Campus between 12 noon and 4:30pm on Friday 23rd of May 2008 to receive your conference pack. The plenary session will start at 5pm.

We will maintain a desk for late check-ins until 7.00pm on the 23rd. You will also be able to check-in at the conference information desk in the Schermerhorn Building on the 24th and 25th May.

Columbia's Morningside Campus is found at 116th street between Broadway and Amsterdam. The nearest subway stop is the 1 line. This has a station directly outside the campus gates on Broadway at 116th.

cancellation policy:

Registration fees will be returned on cancellation until April 30th 2008 (minus any processing costs). Cancellations after this date will forfeit the registration fee.
