The New York Archaeological Consortium takes place each spring, and attracts representatives of several major academic and public institutions with ties to archaeology and related disciplines. The date for NYAC 2010 has yet to be announced. All are invited to present their summer fieldwork or research projects. The event's main objective is to feature the current research of students and faculty and establish contacts among the various archaeological institutions in the New York City metropolitan area. Those who are interested in presenting should send their name, position, affiliation, and project title. Each presentation should be 10 to 15 minutes in length.
