Kadambari Baxi is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice in Architecture. She teaches a range of courses including design studios, senior seminars, and special topics seminars. She maintains two practices–Martin/Baxi Architects and imageMachine (a collaborative expaneded architecture+media practice). Her work has been exhibited internationally, most recently at Van Alen Institute, New York, Disonancias, Spain, and IFG-Ulm, Germany. Her publications include two books (with Reinhold Martin): Multi-National City: Architectural Itineraries (Actar, Barcelona, 2007) and Entropia (Black Dog Publishing, London, 2000). She is currently working on an exhibition and publication (co-authored with others) titled Aesthetics of Crossing: Land Ports of Entry / Citizenship by Design.
