How to Access the Art on Screen Database
Access to the database at present is available through subscription to the Art
on Film Database Service. As a subscriber, you simply phone, fax, or E-mail
your questions. Our experienced staff will search the Database and will send an
annotated list of films and videos, usually within three days or less.
A subscription to the Art on Film Database Service includes:
- A free search of the database
- A free subscription to the biannual Art on Screen newsletter,
plus the
special subscribers' only supplement, Close-Ups, featuring reviews and
new releases
- Free "Ready Reference" telephone service for quick questions
Annual subscription rates:

Category A.
- Individuals and educational institutions, including
museums, schools, colleges, universities, and public libraries.....$35.

Category B.
- Commercial for-profit organizations, government
agencies, galleries, associations, television stations/networks, producers and
distributors.....$65.
- After the first free Database search, subscribers pay the following
discount fees per search:
- Category A...............$25
Category B...............$50.
Fees cover searches yielding 0-75 records. A modest surcharge is applied to
searches yielding more than 75 records. Cost estimates are provided on request
before the search is done.
