Biography

Aimee Ng's research in the field of Italian Renaissance art focuses particularly on early Mannerist artists and their dispersal after the Sack of Rome, including Rosso Fiorentino, Parmigianino, and Sebastiano del Piombo. Prior to earning her Ph.D. at Columbia University, she received a BFA at Queen's University, in Kingston, Ontario, where she specialized in figurative painting.
