Lectures and Events
Howard Hibbard Forum

The Columbia Art History Grad Colloquium is a series designed to bring together department faculty and graduate students from all fields. The purpose of the Colloquium is two-fold: on the one hand, it is a forum for students and faculty to share their research in an informal setting. On the other hand, it's also an opportunity for presenters to practice a conference paper, get feedback on an upcoming publication, experiment with presentation technologies, etc.  Each presentation lasts between 15 to 30 minutes (maximum) and is followed by questions, discussion, and feedback from the audience.  Wine and light refreshments are served.

If you know that you would like to present, please let Stephanie O'Rourke and/or Susan Wager know by e-mailing them at columbiacolloquium@gmail.com. Please also feel free to send suggestions for presentation topics, comments, or questions to this same address.

Please note that the Colloquium is open only to affiliates of the
Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University and
their guests.
