Barnard Art History Seminar Application Deadlines Extended to November 7
Please note that the deadline for submitting applications for Barnard Art History seminars has been extended to Wednesday, November 7.
Barnard Art History seminars (AHIS BC prefix) are limited to 15 undergraduate students and require an application. Travel seminars are limited to 14. Applications are due on Wednesday, November 7, in the Barnard Art History Department office.
Rosters will still be decided by November 14. The Art History Department will post rosters outside of the department office on the 5th floor of Diana Center. An application form is available on the Barnard College Art History Department website.
Columbia Art History seminars also require an application. Columbia Art History seminar applications are due in the CU Art History office in Schermerhorn by mid-November (date to be announced.)
The following spring 2013 Barnard Art History seminars require an application for admission:
- AHIS BC3938: Modern Native American Art in the Southwest (Elizabeth Hutchinson)
- AHIS BC3968: Art Criticism II (Nicolas Guagnini)
- AHIS BC3971: The Rococo and its Revivals (Anne Higonnet)
Please note that the Art History Senior Research Seminar and the Visual Arts Senior Project Seminars are open to Barnard College Art History and Visual Arts Concentration seniors and do not require an application. Methods and Theories of Art History also does not require an application.
